Met-L-Flo’s new service addition offers a new solution

          Met-L-Flo Flo Inc., a 3D printing and rapid prototyping service bureau, is excited to announce the addition of fiber reinforced plastics to their services offered. The new service allows customers the ability of receiving durable, yet lightweight parts. Customers now have a new solution for their programs.

          “This addition is another effort to expand our manufacturing processes offered,” explained Carl Dekker, Met-L-Flo’s president with over 30 years in the additive and low volume manufacturing industry. “We’re always seeking the new avenues to accommodate our clients’ needs. We are thrilled to offer another solution such as fiber reinforced plastics.”

          Customers can receive parts in larger geometries as the application of fiber reinforced plastics can be done to virtually any sized part. This application is ideal for a multitude of industries including, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Agricultural and industrial.

          Fiber reinforced plastics is of benefit because it offers a low weight to strength ratio and allows for freedom in part geometry. Fiber reinforced plastics is a very viable solution for specific parts, it has had many amazing application and is growing.
