MJF-Multi Jet Fusion
Multi Jet Fusion is a 3D powder bed fusion process that produces functional nylon prototypes and end-use production parts. The final parts will exhibit fine feature resolution, quality surface finishes, and isotropic mechanical properties. MJF parts and prototypes require minimal post-processing or human finishing.
Originally used primarily for rapid prototyping, is similar to SLA in that the turnaround for parts from concept to physical model can be hours instead of days. SLS uses similar concepts to SLA by building a part one layer at a time, but instead of polymerization of a liquid resins it sinters, or melts, a plastic powder. This system produces prototypes in materials with highly functional properties.
